FOR Nonviolent Youth Collective

Dear Friends,

FOR staff members Maryrose Dolezal and Shauen Pearce are supporting a group of youth counter-military recruiters with a student strike in St. Paul this Thursday Sept 4th, starting at the capital at 12:30 pm. We have two last minute requests from the students for support, and we need your help!

First, we are seeking volunteers from the area to participate as Peace Marshalls - help to keep the students on the protest path, answer questions, slow the group down or stop the group as needed, etc. as we march from the capital to Xcel Center, and then to Harriet Island for a theatrical "arrest" of the war criminals associated with the Republican party.

Second, we are also seeking a few more drivers (with cars) to support leafleting at public schools in the Twin Cities between 6-9 a.m. on Wednesday.

If you can help with either of these, please call me ASAP at 651-210-4465. If you can't come in person but would like to support our efforts, I hope you'll consider making a donation to the Fellowship of Reconciliation today.

Thank you and peace,

Maryrose Dolezal
