I hope you'll join me TONIGHT for an exciting event with Paul Dekar, the chair of the National Council of the Fellowship of Reconciliation, at which he'll be reading from and signing copies of his new book, Building a Culture of Peace: Baptist Peace Fellowship of North America, the First Seventy Years.

The event will take place tonight, Sunday, October 25, at 7:30 PM at the headquarters of FOR, 521 N. Broadway in Nyack. Wine and cheese will be served.

In addition to his role with FOR, Paul Dekar is the Niswonger Professor of Evangelism and Missions at Memphis Theological Seminary. He is also the author of Creating the Beloved Community: A History of the Fellowship of Reconciliation in the United States and Holy Boldness: Practices of an Evangelistic Lifestyle. He and his wife Nancy are North American members of the Holy Transfiguration Monastery in Australia.
