FOR office still closed due to Hurricane Sandy
Our thoughts are with all those in areas most affected by the hurricane. At our headquarters in Nyack, NY, everyone was unharmed but power and phone lines have been out since last Monday. These problems may continue for another week or more, since another storm system is expected to strike this week.

The Fellowship of Reconciliation and FOR members across the country are involved in critical work: confronting members of both parties around the use of military drones; launching the Young, Pacifist and Proud initiative to strengthen a new generation of activist leaders; supporting the intergenerational efforts of the new National Council of Elders; and educating and pushing policy solutions to end U.S. militarism in Latin America.
We're active internationally, too, through a diversity of justice campaigns: supporting the Mexican movement for peace and justice; working to free Syrian political prisoners; and participating in the planning process for the World Social Forum Free Palestine.
