Fellowship of Reconciliation

Friends,

As I mentioned last week, I'm honored to be a part of the "Let Freedom Ring" event tomorrow in Washington, D.C., commemorating the 50th anniversary of the March on Washington for Jobs and Freedom.

I'm pleased to announce that I'll be live on stage -- and on television -- tomorrow, scheduled between 11:45 AM and 12:30 PM Eastern for three minutes! Please watch the live coverage of me on the same program as Presidents Obama, Carter and Clinton, along with many other extraordinary national leaders.

Follow along beginning at 11:00 AM Eastern/8:00 AM Pacific

  • Watch MSNBC for special coverage from the Let Freedom Ring event.
  • Check MSNBC online to see if they broadcast the event live online. The recorded broadcast will likely be available online later in the day.
  • Other cable channels, and local broadcast channels, may broadcast the full event or excerpts.
  • If you're in D.C., please join us at the event or afterwards for an informal gathering.

I'm not the only member of FOR in Washington for these events -- five Samuel Dewitt Proctor Conference Fellows being sponsored by FOR have been participating in events since Saturday. Check out our Facebook page or our Twitter feed for ongoing photos and posts from Jamal, Nicole, Kaylan, Irving and Marcus, and Rev. Lucas Johnson who is accompanying them.
