Fellowship of Reconciliation

Friends,

Thank you! Following yesterday's urgent request for support for Andrei Trubceac, and the actions that many of you took to immediately contact the State Department, we are delighted to share news that Andrei's visa request has just been granted!

He will now return to the Republic of Georgia to finish his participation in the Human Rights Caravan project, before traveling to the United States next week to participate in the International Fellowship of Reconciliation's Fellowship School that begins on October 21. Below you will find a message of appreciation from Andrei to all of his supporters:

Andrei TrubceacI just wanted to let you all know that my interview went great today and that my visa request was approved. I should be able to pick my passport with the US visa tomorrow afternoon.

I want to use this opportunity and thank you all from the bottom of my heart for your tremendous support and effort in helping me pull through this. I promise to do my best not to disappoint you during and after the fellowship and prove that your work was not in vain.

In peace, Andrei

Our most sincere thanks for all of your hard work in making this possible. We invite you to send Andrei your greetings and welcome him to the IFOR Fellowship School!

Look for more news from FOR-USA and IFOR this coming week about the upcoming Fellowship School, including profiles of the other selected Fellows.

Gratefully,

Gretchen Honnold
IFOR Fellowship School Coordinator

P.S. The IFOR Fellowship School couldn't happen without your support. Please make a donation to help support Andrei and the other students as they study nonviolence this fall at FOR-USA's Shadowcliff headquarters. Thank you!
