Fellowship of Reconciliation

Friends,

Join the Minnesota Fellowship of Reconciliation on Sunday, Nov. 2nd from 1:30 to 4:00 PM for its annual fall conference, featuring music, refreshments, and fellowship.

This year’s event will feature two very special guests as keynote speakers:

Civil rights veteran and lifelong activist Chuck McDew, who was the chairperson of the Student Nonviolent Coordinating Committtee (SNCC) in 1964 during "Freedom Summer," will speak on the lessons of that historic campaign. "We are the ones we have been waiting for!" is his inspiring message. Chuck McDew will receive Minnesota FOR Peacemaker of the Year Award during the program.

Rev. Kristin Stoneking is the executive director of the Fellowship of Reconciliation and is a recognized national leader in multi-faith organizing, social change, and young adult leadership development. Kristin has led FOR-USA through an organizational transition to strengthen our commitment to addressing racial, social, and economic justice in grassroots U.S. communities. She will provide an update on FOR’s work nationally and internationally.
