Fellowship of Reconciliation

There's still time to join us for the

57th Annual FOR NW Regional Conference at Seabeck!

Peace, Justice & Sustainability:

Strengthening the Links

Thursday July 2 through Sunday July 5

Brochure, details, and registration can be found here!

A highlight of the FOR year, this intergenerational, family-friendly retreat features dynamic speakers, workshops, music, arts, healthy food, and more.

The theme for Seabeck 2015 – Peace, Justice and Sustainability: Strengthening the Links – will be explored by two keynote speakers: Jacqueline Patterson, Director of the NAACP Environmental and Climate Justice Program, and Rev. Osagyefo Uhuru Sekou, a FOR Organizing Fellow who has been supporting the Black Lives Matter movement in Ferguson and nationwide.

There will also be 16 fascinating and enjoyable workshops and, new this year, an Activist Fair! See the brochure!

Programs for children and youth are available to help form peer communities, although everyone is invited to participate in all workshops and talks.

And we’ll enjoy Tom Rawson’s music all weekend long!

Come learn! Come teach! Come join the fun and fellowship to be reinvigorated for the good work!

"I've been attending FOR Seabeck for 20 years -- and every year I learn something that deepens my understanding of nonviolence. We learn about difficult issues, but there is a special kind of joy and hope that we generate there," says Laurie Childers, FOR's National Council chair.

Join Laurie and Rev. Kristin Stoneking, FOR’s executive director, along with 200+ attendees from Washington, Oregon, Canada, and beyond. Seabeck Conference Center is an historic site on the beautiful Hood Canal that offers spectacular views of the Olympic Mountains. There is on-site housing and family style dining with abundant opportunities for informal conversations with nice folks with shared values. In addition to the many planned activities, you can enjoy nature walks, swimming, row boating, a bookstore, and more.
