Fellowship of Reconciliation

Friends,

You've supported FOR in the past with your contributions and we're very thankful. Can we count on you again in 2015?

It's the last day of the year, and I suspect your inbox is stuffed with charitable requests. So I'll keep this short:

FOR Bayard Rustin Fellow Rev. Osagyefo Sekou, with Cornel West in the background, leading a march in St. Louis in August -- as featured on the front page of The New York Times the following day.

First, thank you for all your work in 2015. We've celebrated a lot of successes this year -- the launch of the Campus Weekends nonviolence training program for student activists; deep support of the Black Lives Matter Movement in Ferguson, Minneapolis, and elsewhere; and a series of historic events marking a century of FOR-USA's multifaith work for peace and justice through nonviolence.

Let me be clear that we are celebrating these successes because of your work -- your support: on the ground, in prayer, and with financial contributions.

And speaking of financial contributions, we would gratefully receive yours before midnight tonight.

Remember, if you make your tax-deductible donation by midnight tonight:

  • A donation of $35 or more will get you peace postcards
  • A donation of $50 or more and you'll receive a year's subscription to FOR's magazine Fellowship
  • A donation of $100 will get you a CD of brand new music from the racial justice movement by Rev. Sekou and the band
  • Donate $175 or more, and you'll get Rev. Sekou's album plus a CD of songs by Bayard Rustin himself
  • If you're not able to make donations at that level this year, we even have gifts for donations of $15 or even $5 -- every amount helps!

⏳But time is running out.

These gift offers expire at midnight TONIGHT, so if you're going to make a donation, now is the time!

Thank you again, and here's to a bright 2016!
