Stand up for refugees
FOR is hosting this event thanks to the work of Eva Friedberg, a student at Nyack High School. And this day won't just be a film screening. It will be about ending Islamophobia and welcoming refugees. To that end, donations at the film screening will be going to the FOR Give Refugees Rest project as well the Women's Refugee Commission, chosen by Eva.
Additionally, you'll have a chance to learn directly from FOR staff about the Give Refugees Rest campaign and add your voice to the call for justice in welcoming political and economic refugees from Syria and around the world.
