My remarks will touch on the experiences I've had as a woman, a person of faith, and a member of the LGBT community that led me to a vocation in peacemaking and reconciliation. This annual event is sponsored by the Davis Chapter of the United Nations Association of the USA. As you may know, FOR has consultive status at the UN through the Economic and Social Council, and supports the goals of the United Nations in New York and abroad.
