As an FOR member, I know our community of spiritually-rooted activists can struggle with how to best exemplify solidarity -- especially for those of us who are white North Americans.
Sometimes this tension emerges in our international partnerships -- with activists in Latin America, the Middle East, and elsewhere -- but more often, we are both encouraged and challenged to express our anti-racist commitments right in our home communities.
With the emergence of the Movement for Black Lives, now is the right time to expand our knowledge of faithful and powerful solidarity.
Please join me on Tuesday, March 8 from 7:00 to 9:00 PM Pacific time for this timely conversation. You can attend the live event in downtown Oakland, CA, or join us online through an Internet livestream.

To attend this event in person, please reserve a ticket.
Tickets are available at a sliding scale donation of $5 to $20, but no one will be turned away for lack of funds. Proceeds from the tickets will go directly to the Black Lives Matter Bay Area Chapter.

We ask that you do what you can to be fragrance free so people who have chemical sensitivities and related illnesses can participate.
