Fellowship of Reconciliation

Friends,

The Unitarian Church of All Souls, FOR-USA, and other sponsors invite you to be a part of a dynamic talk on anti-racist organizing in predominantly white communities and building multiracial movements for justice with movement author and educator Chris Crass.

Where: Reidy Friendship Hall - 1157 Lexington Avenue, New York, NY 10075

When: Tuesday, April 19 at 7:00 PM

Crass is the author of Towards the "Other America": Anti-Racist Resources for White People Taking Action for Black Lives Matter, a collection of essays and interviews that is both a call to action to end white silence and a manual for how to do it.

In his talk entitled Courage Against Racism: Organizing for Racial Justice in the Times of Black Lives Matter and the Presidential Election, Crass will explore questions such as:

  • How can we inspire white people to join racial justice efforts in these times?
  • How can more and more white people, as part of a multiracial coalition for change, step up to support Black-led grassroots movements?
  • How can we develop racial justice leadership in our communities and places of worship?

This event is free and open to the public. For more information, please visit the All Soul's website.

We hope to see you there!
