 The Fellowship of Reconciliation would like to invite you and all of your friends and family to join us in a Solidarity Walk for peace and justice for communities of color.
WHEN: Saturday, August 6th at 10:30 am
WHERE: Outside First Baptist Church: 3 Hoyt St. Spring Valley, NY
WHO: People of all faiths, cultures and ages who wish to strengthen the fight against injustice for people of color and contribute to creating a more peaceful world.
Join us for a silent, reflective walk for peace. After a short welcome outside of First Baptist Church, we will walk in silence to Memorial Park, Spring Valley, for about 20 minutes where we will end with a brief ceremony.
Organizations and individuals are invited to carry signs that promote a message of justice and love as they walk.
Refreshments will be served at Memorial Park where Community Leaders will speak from 11:30am-12pm.
